CIRI IR Issues Backgrounder - Regulators Will NOT Implement NI 51-103

On December 20, 2012, CIRI issued a Backgrounder outlining significant rule changes being proposed by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) as National Instrument 51-103, regarding new governance and disclosure requirements for Canadian venture issuers. CSA has now issued Notice 51-340 announcing that they will not pursue implementation of NI 51-103.
