Join the Fun and Expand Your Network!

Are you interested in discovering a new side of Banff while at the 2015 Annual Conference? Or, looking to network with colleagues in a casual and fun environment? CIRI has organized the following activities for you and your companions to take part in to expand your 2015 Annual Conference experience. All optional events take place on Sunday morning.

Activities

Cave and Basin Tour
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Banff area including a visit to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site. Naturally occurring, warm mineral springs can be found inside the cave, and outside in an emerald coloured basin. Other highlights of the tour include Surprise Corner, the hoodoos and Tunnel Mountain Drive that overlooks the splendour of the Bow River Valley. For a fee of $69 plus tax, you will enjoy the birthplace of Canada's National Park system with knowledgeable guides. This tour is suitable for all fitness levels and takes place from approximately 9:00am - 12:30pm. More details will be provided closer to the date.

19th Annual CIRI Golf Tournament
Renowned for its panoramic beauty, the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course is situated in Banff National Park, a mile high in the Canadian Rockies. With a breathtaking view in every direction, it is a captivating and challenging course. Holes gently roll along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain, Mount Rundle and Tunnel Mountain. Fees of $205 plus tax per person, includes round-trip transportation, green fees, golf carts, and a light breakfast on the cart. This activity takes place from approximately 6:30am - 12:00pm. More details will be provided closer to the date. Note: Golf clubs can be rented from the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Club directly for an additional fee of $70 plus tax (includes a souvenir tee bag and two logoed golf balls).

All activity cancellations must be received in writing. Cancellations received after April 17, 2015 are non-refundable.
