On February 7, CIRI submitted recommendations regarding proposed changes to the Capital Markets Act. CIRI is supportive of establishing a regulatory framework that reduces the burden on reporting issuers and other market participants while continuing to protect investors and enhance Ontario’s position as a globally competitive capital markets jurisdiction.
