Yvette Lokker, the President & CEO of CIRI, has advised the Board of CIRI that she plans to step down to pursue other opportunities.

Yvette has been with CIRI for 15 years, having led the organization for the last 10 years. During this time, she launched the Investor Relations Certification Program (CPIR), developed research that establishes best and evolving practices, increased collaboration across the Chapters and strengthened advocacy efforts and relationships with regulators, while enhancing the operational efficiency and financial stability of the organization.

“Yvette is a consummate professional who has left an impressive legacy on the Canadian investor relations profession and, after a highly successful career at CIRI, we wish Yvette all the best in her future endeavours,” said Adam Borgatti, Board Chair. “A formal search process for Yvette’s successor is underway and we will work together to ensure a smooth transition in leadership.”

“It has been a tremendous privilege to support the IR profession and I have been fortunate to have the support of many incredible, dedicated IROs and service providers,” said Yvette. “I remain passionate about investor relations and the value it brings to organizations and wish CIRI continued success.”

Yvette will remain CEO & President until mid-July when she will transition to part-time and Co-CEO with Nathalie Megann, Past CIRI Chair and former Vice President, Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs, Chorus Aviation Inc. until mid-August. Together, they will ensure members continue to receive the exceptional service and member benefits they are accustomed to.
