Creating Sustainable IR Amid Change

CIRI's 2020 Annual Conference is going virtual and will include all of the elements that make this a hallmark event for Canadian IROs year in and year out. The Conference will be held over four afternoons – November 23, 24, 30 and December 1. 

Given CIRI's commitment to bringing the Canadian investor relations community together, especially under the current circumstances, we will leverage technology to safely share and learn from one another, offering a uniquely interactive and immersive experience. As always, we will deliver panel discussions with subject matter experts, interactive roundtables with peers, opportunities to engage with one another and a virtual exhibit hall to stay current on product and service offerings. This virtual format will allow new and innovative ways to learn. 

The Annual Conference Committee has worked diligently to offer an engaging program that includes varied interactions, from panel discussions with subject matter experts to roundtables with peers; all aimed at keeping you up to date on IR best practices and emerging trends, as well as changes within the broader capital markets.

You will hear from Board members, fund managers, research analysts, capital market experts and governance specialists, as well as fellow IROs representing a broad range of industries and market caps. The Committee has also organized an impressive list of keynote speakers, including Michelle Edkins, Managing Director, Investment Stewardship, BlackRock; and Russ Girling, President & CEO, TC Energy Corporation.
