Street Estimates

Securities analysts’ estimates of a company’s financial and operating metrics, typically earnings per share but might also be cash flow per share or revenues depending on the industry or company. While in North America, the term 'Street' is derived from Wall Street or Bay Street, the estimates come from analysts who work for securities firms, regardless of location. A consensus estimate is often quoted, which is the average of a number of analysts’ estimates.
