CIRI Ontario Chapter Update
CIRI Ontario kicked off the 2014-2015 programming year stylishly with Fay Dodds, Vice President, Investor Relations, of Burberry plc, one of the world’s foremost luxury brands and the largest publicly traded fashion house in Britain. A former retail analyst and longtime IR professional, Dodds fielded questions from a packed audience on a range of topics, sharing her experiences and insights on how to craft and manage a global IR strategy for a high profile company.
We are pleased to offer new pricing for the 2014-2015 programming year. Luncheons are now $35 for members (students $25) and $55 for non-members (students $35).
Our next event will be a mentorship breakfast on October 7, 2014. Join us to hear stories, tips, and advice from a seasoned IRO.
CIRI BC Chapter Update
The BC Chapter is extremely pleased to announce the addition of two new Executive members: Erin O’Toole, Analyst, Investor Relations for NOVAGOLD Resources Inc. joined in June and will be handling Programming Support for our upcoming programming sessions; and Sandra Daycock, Director of Investor Relations for Methanex Corporation has been appointed Secretary. Their valuable skillsets will assist in strengthening the BC Chapter.
Starting this fall, we are delighted to be launching our Mentorship Program. Our two protégés will be working with their experienced IR mentors to share ideas, perspectives and experiences. Watch for updates about the program and learn how you can get involved. It’s a great way to learn as well as a great way to give back!
